CfA update

Back in October I posted about a contest in which
a friend of mine's business was entered.
I told you about it in order that you might have
an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of some
brothers and sisters in Rwanda by voting.
YOU DID!!
Please read below and join me in congratulating CfA
and thanking the Lord...

On behalf of everyone at Cards from Africa, Yves (the Manager) and myself would like to thank those of you who voted for us in The World Challenge competition. We were absolutely delighted to receive 2nd prize, the accompanying US$10,000, and the extra publicity generated as a result. THANK YOU!

We are very grateful to have friends like you. As I write, two individuals are making it possible for Cards from Africa to go to two major stationery shows - the Spring Fair in Birmingham, UK, and the New York Stationery Show in New York in May. Without this prize money, this would not be possible, and we are trusting that this will help to increase the demand for our cards even more than ever!

If you would like to know more, please go to their website
http://www.theworldchallenge.co.uk/ .

Please continue to spread the word around about CfA - without you buying our cards, our business would cease, honestly. YOU are making a difference to the lives of orphaned youth in Rwanda in a dignifying manner. We really are truly grateful, on their behalf.

With many, many thanks,

Chris Page

Hey!
I am so excited to hear about the cards. I think that is awesome!
It is so crazy to look at your blog and see people wearing shorts. While it is not as cold here in Lithuania as it is in Portland, it is definently not shorts weather either.
As I looked at your blog I was reminded of the time when Melissa was in town and we went to the beach. I look forward to a good beach trip with you and others! :)
Hope you have a great Christmas.

Hi Sara!
It was so great to see your parents there with you!! :) What a great blessing it was for them to be able to visit! Life here in Seattle has been interesting lately...Major wind storms swept across the city and we lost power for about 3 days....and some people are still without power going on days 5 now. We stayed warm over at Dan's parents and sister's house with the help of the fireplace!
Little Gunnar is doing awesome and is 4 months old now! Check out our blog at www.Tegmans.blogspot.com to see the latest.
You look great and can't wait to see ya back in the states again! Miss ya and love ya!! Traci, Dan and Gunnar :)
